SigmaRoc | Annual Report 2025
Sigmaroc is a London-listed lime and industrial minerals group, operating across the UK, Ireland and Northern and Central Europe. Our partnership with Sigmaroc dates back to 2019, where we have worked with them yearly to produce annual and interim reports. Through consistency, trust and an in-depth understanding of their requirements, we have built a long standing relationship while delivering these projects – reflecting our ability to deliver high-quality publications while adapting to evolving needs and deadlines.
The brief and objectives
The 2025 annual report spanned 235 pages and included a variety of content such as; corporate performance statistics, employee profiles and dedicated feature sections, including ESG. Our objective was to make complex information clear, engaging and consistent to appeal to different stakeholders, creating final versions of the document optimised for print and digital use.
Our approach
Working in close collaboration with the client, after reviewing initial art direction, we then developed the document further, taking ownership of the creative. Given the size of these documents – the challenge is to deliver extensive and sometimes complex content in a format that is coherent, and easy for stakeholders to engage with.
The scope of work required of this includes the creation of charts, graphs, infographics and iconography to communicate key information visually, alongside the meticulous typesetting of extensive financial statements and tables. Each step requires careful attention to layout, typography and information hierarchy, to ensure the document feels cohesive and accessible. After publication, the final stage of each project is to create a digital flip-book version of the document. This allows for a static version of the document to become an interactive web-based publication, mimicking a real life brochure with age turning animations.
