  • I cringe: when reminded of boozy breakdancing exploits in a busy Manchester bar
  • I love: nights out, holidays and karaoke!
  • I cry: when there's no plan!
  • I laugh: as much as possible
  • I eat: carbs
  • I drink: at weekends…mostly
  • I play: with words
  • I watch: horror, true crime, spooky stuff!
  • I read: hundreds of books, over and over again
  • I listen: to music that fits my mood
  • I cringe: at a laid back lifestyle
  • I love: my wife, son and 2 cats
  • I cry: very easily the older I get
  • I laugh: at average sitcoms
  • I eat: too much junk food
  • I drink: too much coffee
  • I play: golf, poorly
  • I watch: lots of Paw Patrol with my son
  • I read: not nearly enough
  • I listen: to an eclectic mix of music
  • I cringe: at my lack of fitness
  • I love: animals, art, food, anything creative, and getting outdoors in nature
  • I cry: at cute animal videos (who knew I’d be ugly crying at a cat called figgypuddin at 6am)
  • I laugh: at dad jokes (the worse, the better)
  • I eat: my bodyweight in sushi whenever I get the chance; cheese comes a close second
  • I drink: black coffee, sparkling water, and beer (that’s it, nothing else)
  • I play: with my cat Mikasa – I’m sure my friends are sick of seeing all the Mika content on my Instagram stories (I’m never stopping)
  • I watch: lots of anime and fantasy movies. I also love a so bad it’s good comedy (the room is iconic)
  • I read: all the books I can get my hands on, but I especially love fantasy books like LOTR
  • I listen: to all kinds of music, but have a soft spot for hardcore and rock
  • I cringe: at people being rude
  • I love: the outdoors, test cricket, Liverpool, FC, spending time with friends and family
  • I cry: at my own terrible jokes
  • I laugh: at Bob Mortimor, Sam Campbell and Richard E Grant. The Hellraisers book about Richard Burton, Richard Harris, Peter O’Tool and Oliver Reed
  • I eat: too much!
  • I drink: pretty much anything
  • I play: cricket, Football Manager
  • I watch: waaaaay to much sport
  • I read: Noble Rot’s magazine, The Athletic, Leo Houlding’s ‘Closer To The Edge’
  • I listen: lots of podcasts; The Grade Cricketer, Tailenders, Wisden Cricket, The Rest Is Football, Inside Burgundy….. Listening to Test Match Special in the summer shall always be one of my great pleasures
  • I cringe: at my Facebook memories. If only I could go back to tell my 13 – 18 year old self not to post that…no doubt my future self will probably cringe at this list too!
  • I love: mulling things over
  • I cry: every time I see that Archie Gemmil goal
  • I laugh: at the resurgence of 80’s fashions
  • I eat: buttery toast and marmalade (yes, all the time)
  • I drink: expensive M&S cordials
  • I play: with scalpels, marker pens & pads of paper
  • I watch: people from the corner of a dingy pub
  • I read: and re-read again
  • I listen: an eclectic mixture
  • I cringe: when I see myself in the mirror
  • I love: hiking
  • I cry: when I’m laughing too hard
  • I laugh: at really bad jokes
  • I eat: lots of vegs and sweets
  • I drink: coffee like an addict
  • I play: board games
  • I watch: old classic films and terrible reality TV shows for balance
  • I read: inspiring design books, self-improvement books, goof fiction and the classics
  • I listen: to plenty of 80s, classic, metal and electronic music
  • I cringe: when I see people watching sport and being far more invested in it than the players themselves
  • I love: to read and to cook. I would curl up in a chair with a book all day if I could, or spend it preparing dinner
  • I cry: during any episode of Ambulance, without fail
  • I laugh: at myself, best not to be too serious
  • I eat: anything apart from bananas
  • I drink: only during acceptable hours, it's always five o'clock somewhere, right?
  • I play: old Mega Drive games
  • I watch: my family of houseplants growing into responsible adults, also episodes of 'Below Deck'; it's an awful guilty pleasure
  • I read: all the time – see 'I love'
  • I listen: to suggested playlists to me and wonder what they say about my taste in music
  • I cringe: when people argue on TV, I can't stand the conflict
  • I love: the green green grass of home!
  • I cry: at onion autopsies
  • I laugh: at my own jokes
  • I eat: burgers
  • I drink: White Russians (like Jeff Lebowski aka the Dude/His Dudeness/Duder/El Duderino)
  • I play: Guitar/drums/ukulele/triangle
  • I watch: Game of thrones “Valar morghulis”
  • I read: not enough
  • I listen: to dusty old vinyls
  • I cringe: at my drunken antic recollections
  • I love: land rovers
  • I cry: using Windows
  • I laugh: at my dog

  • I play: crossfit, functional fitness, trail running, obstacle course races – (spartan / viking strong / ultra warrior), table tennis, badminton, swimming

  • I read: self improvement books, health, fitness, cookbooks, fantasy, graphic novels
  • I listen: to many many different genres
  • I cringe: at negativity
  • I love: painting, long walks, live music and reformer pilates
  • I cry: at most films

  • I eat: too many cheese boards with my friends!
  • I drink: lots of cups of tea and the occasional spicy marg
  • I play: chess
  • I watch: Gilmore Girls over and over again
  • I read: all sorts, mostly fiction, fantasy, thrillers or art history books!

  • I cringe: at my car (I reversed into a skip 2 years ago and have never got the massive scratch fixed… oops)
